Thankfully this year we again have the wonderful sea views from our venue, the fantastic SAGA Pavilion in Folkestone, and have an exciting programme of Aikido scheduled for the weekend. We are proud to announce that Anthony Dowling who earned his black belt at the Herne Bay’s BAA Winter School.
He is our first Genryukan student to achieve dan grade and is a credit to the club. Congratulations Tony, all the hard work has paid off.
Also a big thank you to all the instructors and local clubs (Gowaryu, Mushin and Hassou Aikido) who helped him get there.
Great weekend with brilliant instructors and a good turnout.
Big thank you to Shaun Hoddy, Simon Fraser, Bob Jones, Ken Broome and John Burn. We had a nice variety of styles and approaches which was very interesting.
