On Tuesday 2nd March, Gowaryu Aikido will be receiving Neil Saunders Sensei from Meikyokai Aikido, and some of his students.
The session will be at the Swan Centre, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm

New black belts!
Congratulations to Phil Eyers and Eoin Kerrigan who passed their grading at the ZETAR national examination, earning their Shodan (1st dan).
Congratulations also to Jonathan Pieterse and Matt Drinkwater (from Gowaryu Aikido dojo) for getting their 2nd kyu.
We are all proud of the guys’ achievement.
Finally, a massive welldone to Greg Barton (Shoshinkan dojo) who received his Godan (5th dan).
Christmas party!
In conjonction with Gowaryu Aikido and other local clubs to be confirmed, members of Genryukan Aikido are invited for a Christmas party in Folkestone.
It will be held in Folkestone, on Saturday 5th Dcember 2009.
We’ll meet for a drink between 7 and 8pm, then we’ll make our way toward a chinese restaurant, followed by more beverages to wash it all down.

Sunday training at Gowaryu Aikido dojo
Jim Dempster Sensei, from Gowaryu Aikido, will be running an extra training session on Sunday 22nd November 2009.
It will be at the SWAN Centre in Ashford (directions available here) from 3:00pm til 6:00pm.
Members of Genryukan Aikido are very welcome to attend.
